Bee:wild x G42

Bee:wild, campaign of Re:wild, is a science-powered, not-for-profit movement on a global mission to raise awareness and inspire action to protect pollinators and their habitats for the benefit of both nature and humanity.

G42 - a cofounder of Bee:wild - is a global technology group born in Abu Dhabi that uses AI to drive real-world progress, empowering people, transforming industries, and making every day better.

Together, Bee:wild and G42’s AI for Good Lab, are leading Bee:wild’s scientific coalition to develop an AI for Pollinators platform.

Mapping a Future for Pollinators

This global platform will use AI, GIS, conservation and citizen science to map pollinator habitat and corridors, identify threats and stressors, and empower all stakeholders from governments to school children to take conservation action.

One of its main goals is to enable anyone, anywhere to see if they are on or near a pollinator corridor and obtain location-specific information on local pollinators and how to protect them.

Join this project to contribute to these efforts and take action for pollinators, as outlined in the activities on the right.
  • Map

Map pollinator habitat, corridors, and restoration priorities, projects, and expertise at global, national, and local scales.

  • Monitor

Identify, map, and monitor threats and stressors including climate shifts, pesticide use, pollution, and land-use change.

  • Engage

Engage diverse stakeholders, from school children to global policy makers, to take coordinated action for pollinator protection and creating, restoring, and managing pollinator-friendly habitats.

  • Citizen Science

Activate citizen science at scale, enabling real-time data collection and updates, and tracking impact with interactive dashboards.

  • Policy

Support evidence-based policies and conservation action by providing tailored, locally relevant recommendations at national and transboundary levels.

Want to collaborate?

Bee:wild and partners aim to establish a ‘Global Hive’, anchored by regional hubs - a dynamic, multi-level community of practice that unites experts, beekeepers, conservationists, citizen scientists, funders, policy makers, and anyone interested to deliver collective action for pollinators worldwide.

It will elevate pollinators as a unifying symbol for biodiversity and climate solutions, and accelerate conservation impact through cross-sector partnerships.

This network will be integrated with the AI for Pollinators platform, which will map and visualize the Hive, including hubs sharing knowledge and active pollinator projects globally, creating the first-ever one-stop shop for pollinator conservation information, expertise, collaboration, and mobilisation.
