About Us

Together, we share one powerful rallying cry: Bring the Buzz Back!

Bringing the buzz back.

Bee:wild is a global movement to protect pollinators and restore the wild spaces they depend on—for the health of both people and the planet.

A campaign of Re:wild, co-founded by renowned scientists and Leonardo DiCaprio, Bee:wild unites leading environmental groups, scientists, brands, and influential voices from art, sports, and entertainment. Together, we share one powerful rallying cry: Bring the Buzz Back!

A Plan with Purpose

Our theory of change starts with our vision of a planet buzzing with life. From there, we work backwards—mapping the steps, conditions, and strategies needed to get there.

Every decision is guided and approved by our Scientific Advisory Board to ensure progress is real, measurable, and lasting.
  • Identify impactful projects

Prioritize initiatives with clear scientific backing.

  • Define measurable outcomes

Track progress to understand what works and refine future efforts.

  • Guide efforts strategically

Ensure all resources are used effectively to achieve the mission.

Why pollinators?

Pollinators—including bees, butterflies, birds, bats, and other vital species—are the unsung heroes behind our food, flowers, and the balance of nature. Yet their populations are declining worldwide.

Without them, ecosystems falter, and the essential life-support systems we rely on are at risk.

The buzz is disappearing — but we can bring it back.

A brand new Bee:wild report by leading scientists is sounding the alarm on emerging threats to our precious bees and other pollinators. Despite increasing challenges for our natural world, the report also points to opportunities for solutions for both governments, businesses and all of us.

The Bee:wild Fund

We’ve set an ambitious goal: raise $100M to scale up pollinator protection worldwide.

The fund will support:
- Expanding pollinator-friendly habitats.
- Reducing harmful pesticide use.
- Promoting diverse cropping systems for healthier soils.
- Sponsoring cutting-edge research to help pollinators adapt to climate change.

Powered by Pollen

Bee:wild is powered by a coalition of brands “powered by pollen.” By joining forces, these partners raise awareness of pollinator decline on a global scale—while also channeling resources and innovation to restore them.

Unlike many local or sector-specific efforts, Bee:wild helps cross-pollinate ideas and actions across borders, amplifying impact by working together as one swarm.
